No. It is your right to choose your own repairer. ONLY ONE ESTIMATE IS REQUIRED.
If you have all of the details of the other party involved, there is no reason why an excess should apply. You would be much better off putting the claim through you own insurance to avoid all of the delays and inconvenience associated with third party insurance.
There are too many variables when it comes to fixing vehicles, we need to inspect the vehicle to be able to assess the full extent of the damage. You can make an appointment for a quotation between 8am-4.30pm Weekdays or 8am-11am Saturdays.
We can arrange to a suitable time to come to you for your quotation.
Yes. After we have quoted the damage, we will organise with your insurance company to inspect the vehicle and gain the necessary authorisation to commence repairs. At Nathan’s, we organise everything for you.
We can organise this for you. All you need to do is let our staff know and we will have a rental car ready for you when you drop your car for repairs.


Depending on your insurer & insurance policy many policies have replacement car option, which means your insurance company can arrange a replacement car for you.

Don’t worry, if you don’t have this in your policy, Nathans use & recommend Compass Claims. Compass can arrange to meet you here when you drop off your vehicle, so you can easily swap into one of their cars.

These replacement vehicles can be done as a private rental or as a demurrage claim so you don’t need to pay.

We keep you informed throughout the repair process, by your choice of telephone, SMS or email. Once your vehicle has passed its final checks we will contact you to organise a time for collection.
Yes, all repairs performed by Nathans have a written guarantee.
Excess payments are paid to the REPAIRER. If the excess applies it will need to be paid prior to or upon collection of your vehicle.
Cash or Bank Cheque, Direct Deposit (72hr processing time), Cheque (4 working day clearance prior to collection of vehicle), Credit Card (No Amex or Diners, 2% fee applicable on all transactions).

If this option is not in your policy don’t worry because we have you covered. Nathan’s use and recommend Compass Claims. Compass can meet you here with a rental car when you drop your car off for repairs, it’s as easy as that. These replacement cars can be arranged as a private rental or as a Demurrage Claim (so you don’t need to pay).

When the accident is not your fault (someone hit you) the cost of your rental car is recovered from the party at fault / their insurance company. Compass Claims can arrange this for you, for more information call them on 1300 135 485 or click here to find out more on their website. Compass will advise you once your application for a Demurrage Claim has been accepted before providing a rental car.

I brought my car in yesterday to acquire a quote for some scratches. As my car is only just 12 months old and it is the first new car ever owned, I was quite disappointed that my car had been spoiled.

I was expecting to receive a quote to have the door repainted. However, Nathans suggested the scratches may be able to be removed by buffing and Nathans would be happy to attempt this procedure before going any further.

I left my car this morning and within less than two hours, I was contacted to say the a the buffing had been successful. I was so pleased. But not as pleased and thoroughly surprised when I collected my car and told that there was no cost for the service and they had even vacuumed the interior! A gesture such as this is most appreciated at any time, but even more so to me at the moment as I have experienced extremely difficult financial time during the past 18 months.

I would like to say that the customer service and attention received by Nathans was second to none.

Recently, I had my vehicle in for repairs at your business, and I have to say, that I am a very satisfied customer.

Generally speaking, people are often very quick to criticise bad service, however very rarely do people take the time or make the effort to commend good service. From the time I made the first telephone call to make enquiries until the time the car was delivered back to me, I was treated with courtesy and respect, and I truly recognise and appreciate that level of service.

During the two week period that I was dealing with your business, I think I had contact with four different people. Every one of these people was very polite, courteous, friendly and professional. Frank, especially, was most personable and polite – manners I never would expect from a guy working at a smash repairs place.

Unfortunately, that was the second time that Nathan’s have repaired that car (the first was an act of vandalism when the car was only several months old). On both occasions, the service has been impeccable and very professional.

Whatever your formula is, I think it is the secret to your success. I would readily recommend you to others. With respect, I hope I don’t have the need to require your services again, but thank you for making the experience more pleasant and hassle-free.

I recently had the misfortune of a car accident, after many fights with my insurer I insisted that my Toyota was to be repaired by Nathan’s.

We have used your company before on many occasions and have been more than pleased with the quality of workmanship and pride in the workmanship performed. I wish to take this opportunity to thank Kathy on reception, her sense of humour and professionalism is wonderful, Frank who did the quote and the person who did the repairs on my car.

The work that was performed is brilliant, the paint, being mica, and a pain in the bum to match, is perfect. My car was returned in fabulous condition, although when I dropped it off it was filthy as it had been raining, and I didn’t have a chance to wash it. And to add, the turn around period was 5 days shorter than expected, impressive!

I have nothing but praise for your help, and recommend your company to many people.
